Description

Lafayette County is looking for a Deputy Director to join our Housing Authority Department located in Darlington, WI.

This is a regular full-time/40 hours per week; Monday-Friday position with starting pay range of $ per hour and full benefit package eligibility, including state retirement (pension).

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in accounting, business administration and/or an advanced administrative assistant program or have equivalent workrelated experience preferred
Knowledge of WHEDA, HUD, Rural Development, and/or Section 8 Rental Assistance programs preferred
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation preferred; or be willing to obtain within 1 year of hire
Knowledge of computers and various Microsoft Office computer software programs required
Knowledge of TenMast software preferred
Possess a friendly and outgoing personality; must be respectful and courteous
Able to work with demanding clientele; must be able to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions
Detail oriented and have strong data entry, accuracy and accounting skills
Previous experience in real estate, housing authority, and/or office preferred
