The Activities Assistant will assist in the coordination of the activities within the facility; to include and consider all resident's needs, interests, and abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily and monthly schedule of activities. Inform residents regarding activities.
- Promote recreation programs including music, dance, arts and crafts, cultural arts, nature study, social recreation and physically and mentally stimulation exercises.
- Introduce new program activities, equipment, and materials to staff.
- Interprets recreation service to public and participates in community meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Nursing Home experience preferred
