- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads

- Conduct routine lab maintenance and experiments and assist graduate students with basic biochemical, cell, and molecular biological techniques to support current projects.
- Assist in basic laboratory duties such as tracking supplies and preparing solutions and media.
- Assist in lab safety by monitoring and maintaining laboratory safety compliance.
- Participate in laboratory meetings.
- Entry into the applicant pool requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience performing research in a lab setting including basic molecular biology and biochemical techniques.
- Employer may consider advanced degrees in lieu of experience.
- This position requires a person that can provide a high degree of accuracy, reliability, organization, and attention to detail.

This is a grant funded position. Continuation of employment is contingent upon performance and the availability of funding.
Performing research experiments in a laboratory setting conducting preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies in the area of Alzheimer's disease.
