    Description
    We are looking for a

    Data Scientist , based in

    Latin America

    to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a software company based in Mountain View, California.

    Our client has created the most popular search engine becoming one of the most widely used search platforms on the internet.

    The person in this role will be responsible for solving challenging problems and also for designing and implementing workflows for the team.

    Responsibilities
    Lead a team of data scientists/analysts, managing their performance and development.
    Design and implement workflows for the team in collaboration with researchers.
    Write high-quality, efficient Python code for problem-solving.
    Clearly articulate your thought process and logic for your code in Jupyter notebooks.
    Debug code and write comprehensive documentation.
    Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    Communicate effectively with researchers to understand requirements and present findings.
    Convey complex issues effectively to both team members and stakeholders.
    Requirements
    Advanced Level of English
    5+ years of experience as a data scientist/analyst and Python programming.
    2+ years of experience managing a team of at least 5 people.
    Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with researchers and stakeholders.
    Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

    Strong data analysis skills and business acumen to ask the right questions from the dataset, answer those questions, and present the important results cleanly.

    Bonus Points
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields.
