- Provide leadership and guidance to the Accounts Payable team with a passion for their development and implementation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in invoice processing.
- Optimize use of technology and automation.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoice processing.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee the use of accounts payable software and systems utilized to streamline processes (Intact-Sage)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounts payable software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
