Summary:
Works with Production Support in operation of CNC mill and wire EDM equipment and maintenance of machining processes in a production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains production process as needed
- Ensures that product meets customer quality requirements
- Ensures integrity of inspection results
- Participates in continuous improvement and lean material flow opportunities and initiatives within department.
- Assist with training of new team members and operators.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to company safety requirements.
- Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Arch Quality System procedures.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2 years related experience in department processes preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to execute manufacturing plan effectively.
- CNC machine process technology skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong math skills.
- Computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and the internet.
Physical Demands:
- Light to moderate physical exertion required
- Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs: 50
- Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility
