    WORK OBJECTIVE:

    As the Floor Attendant of the Athletic Club, you will assist members in the weight room, cardio area, and classrooms by using a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated approach.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within the work objective. It is not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. The omission of an essential function does not preclude upper management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.

    • Greet all members and assist members with equipment if needed.
    • Always ensure a professional level of service.
    • Clean and wipe down all equipment.
    • Guide members to available equipment when needed.
    • Enforce 30-minute time limit on cardio machines (if needed). Kindly remind members to clean equipment before and after use.
    • Ensure to spot-check weight room and cardio areas for cleanliness and safety, including checking belts for shredding.
    • Wipe down guide rods with lubricated wipes weekly
    • Wipe down white metal frames on all machines DAILY.
    • Dust machines DAILY.
    • Re-rack loose weights, bars, plates, and dumbbells.
    • Bathrooms, Locker Rooms, Tennis Courts, Gymnasium and General Club Area: Check for neatness, pick up paper, towels, cups, etc. Notify Manager or housekeeping of any issues.
    • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
