Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team You will be responsible for the oversight of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial transactions and reports.


What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the monthend closing process and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Maintain monthly close schedules, including recurring journal entries, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, prepaids, rent, depreciation/amortization, and various other accruals.
  • Periodic review of A/R and A/P activity to ensure entries are correctly coded.
  • Review and maintain fixed asset activity, including additions, dispositions, and depreciation expense.
  • Assist in the preparation of yearend tax filings.
  • Prepare audit work papers and assist in managing the annual external audit process.
  • Serve as a team lead and senior member to junior staff members
  • Review junior staff member financials
  • Provides support to Accounting Manager
  • Maintain written accounting procedures for the operation staff and work for the team to ensure proper implementation and compliances
  • To provide management and financial accounting support for the organization which includes taking responsibility for the entries on the general ledger including reconciliations and completing detailed reviews of the profit and loss account on the company accounting system.
  • Assists with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensures that the accounting process complies with the law.
  • Review account/bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of audit and tax return processes.
  • Assists with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
  • Continuous implementation/reviewing of general accounting process improvements within the accounting area.
  • Maintains general ledger supporting documentation.
  • Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned which relate to the success of Inspired Healthcare Capital.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or finance or a related field from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience and/or training.
  • Technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge and experience (US GAAP) and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and an understanding of integration of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll systems required.
  • Experience in Fixed Assets accounting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and high level of accuracy is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of computerized management information systems, business principals and use of current standard PC software tools.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, multitasking, deadlinedriven environment
