Job Summary:

Medinah Country Club is seeking experienced bartenders to join our seasonal Food & Beverage team.

Cabana bartenders are responsible for the Cabana bar's service as well as assisting their teammates in and around the restaurant known as Mecca, including cleanliness checks and upkeep.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Setup and breakdown of bar and restaurant.
  • Stock, organize and maintain beverage inventory, glassware, and drink garnishes.
  • Put away requisitions each day.
  • Perform all side work as assigned.
  • Keep the bar clean, safe, and presentable while providing friendly and attentive service.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages while adhering to the Club's service standards.
  • Answer questions regarding food and beverage menus.
  • Communicate orders with Members and Guests, ring orders through POS and serve orders promptly and accurately.
  • Assist with togo orders and specialty orders as needed.
  • Make heartfelt food and beverage recommendations to Members and Guests.
  • Own every Member request.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications:


  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a willingness to serve with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must work effectively with a team.
  • Required to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Previous bartending experience is required.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, club events and most holidays.
  • Must be BASSET certified.
  • Must enjoy working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs.
  • Experience in private clubs is a plus.
