Unix System Administrator - Southport, United States - Crimson Solutions
Description
For our locations in Garching, Regensburg or Dresden, we are looking for a Unix System Administrator (m/f/d).
Your tasks
- Design, build & operation of our IT platform for our HW chip designers
- Automation using tools such as Python, Ansible, Shell, Rundeck or Artifactory
- Troubleshooting setups for internal customers
- Implementation of new requirements in the Unix environment
- Participation in a 24-7 on-call rotation and incident management
- Creation and revision of documentation
Your profile
- Technical degree or comparable education with relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the following programming/scripting languages is advantageous: Power Shell, Python, Ansible, Perl, Foreman, Git, Bitbucket
- Previous experience with Ubuntu, Redhat, Solaris, Centos or HPUX
- Knowledge of HA solutions: Service Guard, Oracle Cluster or F5 Loadbalancer
- Experience with the following storage technologies is desirable: SAN/NAS (EMC, Hitachi, Netapp)
- Very good German and good English skills
