$60,000.00 per year


Employment Type:

Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required

As the General Manager of The Pickle Jar, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation and growth of our pickleball club.

You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the club's facilities are maintained to the highest standards. This dynamic role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for pickleball.


Responsibilities:

Staff Management:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise hourly staff members.
  • Schedule staff shifts efficiently to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of customer service.

Facility Maintenance:


  • Ensure the club premises are clean, safe, and wellmaintained at all times.
  • Oversee maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Scheduling:


  • Manage court reservations and schedule pickleball events, leagues, and tournaments.
  • Coordinate with coaching staff to schedule lessons and clinics for members.

Event Organization:


  • Plan and execute pickleball events, socials, and competitions to engage members and attract new players.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to promote events and increase participation.

Customer Relations:


  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
  • Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in club management, recreation management, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
  • Passion for pickleball and understanding of the pickleball community.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Benefits:
