Job Title: Experienced PeopleSoft Administrator at Peraton

Responsibilities:

Peraton is looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to join their team supporting an Intelligence Community customer. This role includes ensuring high system availability, quickly troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and handling tickets and calls from customers. On-site work involves frequent customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure high system availability and conduct daily system monitoring.
Troubleshoot and promptly resolve network and application performance issues.
Handle system issues through a ticketing system and report to the customer site during off-hours if required.
Deploy software patches monthly following security guidelines.
Collaborate closely with government customers, Project Lead, ISSO, Application Vendor, and End Users.
Comprehend system hardening and security through STIG and patching.
Create and update documentation to simplify complex configurations for clarity.
Familiarity with Oracle database environments on Linux servers.
Effectively communicate complex system configurations clearly in documentation.
Experience in creating/revising SOPs, STPs, SIPs, SAGs, SUMs, and ICDs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant area with 8+ years of experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active DOD TS/SCI security clearance OR active TS with SCI eligibility with active polygraph OR the ability to obtain a polygraph before starting.
Knowledge of, and experience with, PeopleSoft HCM Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 and higher.
Experience as a PeopleSoft administrator in complex, integrated, and customized environments.
Experience with PeopleSoft systems running on Linux/Windows servers and Oracle databases.
Required expertise in Performance tuning SQL, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Change Assistant, Application Designer and Data Mover, among others.
Experience managing PeopleSoft in a load-balanced environment and with OpenSSL, SSL certificates, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, and databases maintenance.

Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical experts, non-technical business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Demonstrated experience in working independently to prioritize and manage multiple requests.
Experience in meeting response times as per service level agreements for high-priority requests.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
Demonstrated experience in effective communication internally and externally.
Planning and scheduling maintenance, including security patching and emergency responses for database management systems and platforms in the production environment.

Salary Range:

$146,000 - $234,000. This is the typical salary range based on experience and other factors.
