Responsibilities and duties:
"What you will do in the role day to day"


As a Senior Product designer, you will combine helping launch some of their most important products for our business, along with helping us to further develop our awesome team of designers and our design quality.


As a key member of the design team, you'll be responsible for designing products that combine both utility and beauty across platforms.

Work closely with our products and engineering teams to solve real business problems, deliver measurable value to both Fanatics and our awesome base of collectors and sellers.


You'll also help grow our culture, coach and inspire the new Fanatics design team, supporting our engineering and product teams while elevating the strategic role of design within the organization.


As a senior product designer, you will

  • Work in small, multidisciplinary teams to create elegant product experience, craft intuitive, humancentric flows and experiences on Web, iOS, and Android.
  • Develop highfidelity prototypes and visuals, delivering pixelperfect mockups and design specs.
  • Manage design projects through the entire product lifecycle, overseeing multiple launches simultaneously.
  • Contribute significantly to design system development, including component design and style libraries.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering, and leadership to design and launch features, as well as iterate on existing ones.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in engineering implementation, and the ability to integrate into QA processes to ensure high quality execution
  • Participate in regular design critiques and brainstorming sessions. Partner closely with Product Managers to develop and refine product requirements, create solutions, and secure stakeholder buyin.

  • You've got significant experience doing user research & designing products and services, working as part of a team with other designers and engineers
  • You can advocate and explain your work in an understandable way without jargon
  • You know how to respond to feedback on your work and on your approach
  • You can take your colleagues and your clients/stakeholders on a journey with you, so they buy into your approach and your design decisions
  • You care about the integrity of your work, but can still balance user, business & technical needs and take calculated risks to get things done
  • You have mastery of Figma
  • You have knowledge of design systems fundamentals, and experience maintaining, contributing, or building them
  • You have experience conducting customer research and usability tests and then turning these insights into beautifully designed products
  • You have ability to work both autonomously as well as within a team while managing and contributing to multiple projects concurrently
  • You can work autonomously, but know when to ask for help You care about your work, and are constantly looking for ways to improve the product.

  • In Los Angeles, the salary range for this position is $120,000 $145,000, which represents base pay only and does not include shortterm or longterm incentive compensation. This salary range is specific to Los Angeles and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training._
