Duties Description
The incumbent will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Review of annual budgets and required administrative forms, review of budget modification requests, and review of narrative progress reports and data submissions;
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to contractors to ensure compliance with program requirements;
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure collaboration with communitybased stakeholders including facilitation of calls or meetings;
  • Collaborate with DOH data leads on data collection and reporting, and Center for Community Action contractors on training, technical assistance, learning collaborative, continuous quality improvement and other program monitoring initiatives;
  • Serve as program liaison between DOH staff, program stakeholders and staff from other state and local agencies;
  • Participate in internal and interagency workgroups;
  • Supervise student assistants and/or interns;
  • Assist in the development of grant related documentation associated with federal agencies and other funders;
  • Prepare routine programmatic communications for dissemination to program contractors;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures;
  • Participate in review of Request for Applications (RFAs); and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Comments
Occasional travel, including to areas that may not be served by public transportation, may be required (10%).

For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position.

Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
