JOB PURPOSE:
Ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and managing inventory within our warehouse.


JOB DUTIES:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure costeffective agreements
• Maintain and update supplier databases, including contact information, pricing, and lead times
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications
• Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
• Resolve any supplierrelated issues promptly to maintain smooth operations
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory within the warehouse
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends
• Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to identify costsaving opportunities and trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/ COMPETENCIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or warehouse management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software/tools.
• Detailoriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:

• Required to work in an environment that undergoes extreme temperature changes
• Required to work in an environment that has dirt and dust
• Required to work in an environment that can be noisy
• Lift up to 50lbs during the day
• Standing or walking through the entire day
• Bending and stooping
