    Description


    We are currently looking for a heavy equipment operator that has past experience in loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors and blades.

    The ideal candidate needs to have good communication skills, excellent problem solving capabilities, and work well within a team environment.

    Overview:
    Operate several types and sizes of equipment: loaders, excavators, backhoes, tractors and blades. (Track & rubber tire)

    Typical Duties:

    Load/move/lift earth or materials as requiredInspect equipment dailyBasic maintenance and clean equipmentOperate equipment along a given line of gradeAble to receive hand signal instructions from othersUse of hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenanceProperly follow OSHA safety proceduresResponsible for other duties assigned for the job Qualifications: 3+ years experience in field or related fieldProficiency and accuracy in equipment operationAbility to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructionsAbility to give and understand hand signalsRegular and punctual attendanceApplicants who are offered employment will be required to submit to a Drug/Alcohol test and a functional capacity evaluation.

    This evaluation, which applies to all incoming construction labor employees, is done to determine whether the employee is suited to and capable of performing the essential functions of the position offered.
