    Details:
    We have a client located in Leetsdale, PA seeking a Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Duties:

    • Document and submit product improvements
    • Improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs by maximizing efficiencies and developing optimum procedures
    • Assure the ability to cost effectively manufacture new products before market introduction
    • Develop and maintain SOP"s for all manufacturing processes in accordance with established formats
    • Develop and maintain effective procedures to help ensure that all product routings are complete, accurate, and reflect the company's lean thinking initiatives
    • Integrate new product development with manufacturing processes to reduce the time in which we can introduce new productsJob RequirementsDetails:

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering
    • Plan, develop, justify and submit Capital Equipment Requests (CERs) required for new machines and other capital expenditures required for manufacturing
    • Adhere to and be a leader in 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Kaizen methodologies
    • 6S, lean, and/or continuous improvement experience
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry is required
    • Ability to read blueprints from manual and auto cad documents is required
    • Willing to travel up to 25%
    • Previous experience with fluid power or within a manufacturing environment is preferred
    • Prior experience with ERP software such as SAP is required
