If you want to have a positive impact in the lives of others come join usThe Medication Management Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of outpatient nurses.
Provides training, direction, and clinical supervision for assigned staff. Plan, organize and implement nursing services in correlation with the goals of FBH's centralized medical policies and procedures.Appropriately respond to patient concerns and complaints and problem solve moderately complex patient issues, in collaboration with the director of nursing.
Ensure staffing needs are anticipated and scheduling addresses coverage issues.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Review and approve employee timecards.Monitor and maintain adequate staffing levels, approve vacation requests, and maintain Sling.
Complete employee performance reviews on time.
Deliver clinical nursing care as directed by the director of nursing.
Contribute perspective regarding revision and development of outpatient policy and procedures.
Be active in problem solving, being open to discussions and supporting the overarching goal of FBH.Direct the activities of assigned staff members and ensure staff members function within the scope of their credentials.
Ensure assigned staff perform FBH charting requirements, correspondence, and other paperwork in a complete and timely manner.Ensure assigned staff comply with state WAC and regulatory requirements, and FBH policies and procedures.
Ensure maintenance of outpatient supply inventory and samples.
Monitor refrigerator logs and mediation room to meet the standards of DOH.Ensure equal opportunity for assigned staff regarding work assignments, training, promotions and other conditions and privileges of employment.
Ensure staff members act in accordance with trauma informed care principles and treat patients and each other with dignity and respect.
Keep your leadership chain abreast of emergent situations, challenges, barriers, staff issues, safety concerns and any other issues as they arise.
Ensures incident reports are completed accurately, thoroughly, and timely.Access and utilize internal resources when needed including the direct leadership chain, facilities, and human resources.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with FBH staff and other provider network agencies.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
RN Licensed in the State of WashingtonThree years' experience in the direct treatment of the mentally ill.
Demonstrated expertise or training in assessment, evaluation, and triage skills.
Working knowledge of psychotropic medications, their uses and side effects.
BLS within 90 days of start date.
PREFERRED:
BSN PreferredPrevious Supervisory experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Able to communicate with diverse populations of varied backgrounds, education levels and socio-economic differences.
Displays knowledge of when to appropriately access resources for outpatient to include but not limited to leadership, HR, pharmacy, and prescribers.

Work is generally performed in an office setting, which may involve sitting and use of computers for four to eight hours per day.

PAY RANGE (Salary/Exempt): $90, $110,427.15**All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting pay is $90,641.33 annually.
