Role Overview:
Index Engines has been providing organizations with power over information since 2004.

Our scalable, high performance indexing engine has been uniquely architected to support both primary and backup data and is unmatched in the industry.


CyberSense is the latest offering that combines analytics and machine learning to detect corruption due to a cyberattack with 99.5% accuracy.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide postsale technical support by working directly with key partners and sometimes with their end users.
  • Use logs and diagnostic reports to troubleshoot functional and performance issues.
  • Communicate case status in writing and verbally to our partners and to our Engineers.
  • Work with QA and development resources to prioritize, debug and deliver fixes to end customers.
  • Provide customer feedback to product teams.

Requirements:


  • Experience providing software support.
  • Strong Intrapersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Associates/Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Basic administrative experience with Linux environments.
  • Experience with backup software/technology is a plus.
  • The ability and desire to learn the detailed workings of our software using a variety of methods including documentation, videos, labs and most importantly proactive study and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with server hardware and networking is a plus.
  • Based on project/partner requirements there may be a need to support/work early/late hours.
  • Desire to learn new technologies.
