Description

Your tasks

This job focuses on developing a concept for implementing a fully automated handling approach for injection-molded plastic articles using FTS and Cobot handling in preparation for a downstream measurement process. This involves removing the products to be measured directly from the injection molding machine from an existing storage position, clamping them into a measuring device, and transferring them systemically for the subsequent measurement process. This contributes to a "Closed Loop Quality Control" approach for transparent and automated quality assurance, optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the included processes.

  • You will research possible implementation variants for fully automated handling and measurement of injection-molded components, based on the existing framework and system landscape of the company
  • You will develop a concept for a technically feasible approach to implementing a continuous component handling and quality assurance process in the sense of "Closed Loop Quality Control", including the presentation of the corresponding data flow
  • You will evaluate your concept technically and economically, with a corresponding recommendation for sustainable and resilient implementation in the company

Your qualifications

  • You are currently studying mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, IT and automation, technology management, medical technology, mechatronics and digital automation, or a similar field and are looking to write your thesis in the next semester
  • You are interested in examining feasibility and enjoy working on complex tasks, with some previous experience in the field of
