How does YOUR POSITION help us work toward OUR MISSION?

  • Complete metal detection of packaged finished goods.
  • Learn to operate a chain hoist and pallet jack when required.
  • Ensure the work team has proper packaging materials and paperwork for the next production run.
  • Keep work area clean including all tools needed for the job.
  • Perform frequent cleaning of work area to ensure a safe food environment.
  • Stack finished goods product onto pallet in correct pattern.
  • Learn to read scales to ensure proper fill weight.
  • Learn to feed bags through a bag sealer or tie liner and tape boxes using tape gun.
  • Learn to package finished goods into bags or boxes on all lines.
  • Assist machine operator with changeover procedures including cleaning and sanitizing responsibilities, metal detection, screens, and magnets.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, lifting, standing on a consistent basis during workday.
  • Potentially Working In Loud, Dusty Environment
