Truck Dispatcher / Logistics Representative
Sunset is currently looking for a Truck Dispatcher/Logistics Representative that is driven, hard-working and energetic.
Job Duties:
- Working closely with customers' job foremen/superintendents to ensure that correct products and quantities are delivered in a timely manner.
- Proactively schedule next day orders with customers.
- Prepare paperwork for Lowboy permits.
- Dispatch company drivers and independent motor carriers.
- Investigate and resolve shipment issues with both vendors and customers.
- Serve as backup to remote truck scaling service for Consolidated Materials, Inc.
- Prepare miscellaneous reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with drivers, customers, suppliers and independent motor carriers.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience with dispatching Trucks locally for Construction jobs or Waste Management industries.
- Understanding of working with aggregates, pits, quarries, and dump truck operations.
- Experience with completing paperwork for Lowboy permits strongly preferred.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fastpaced environment.
- Good verbal communication in person with team members and over the phone to deliver excellent service to customers and drivers.
- Must have intermediate to strong computer skills and can learn to utilize different computer and mapping systems to dispatch, record data and create reports.
- Must have the ability to make basic mathematical computations, schedule and organize large numbers of drivers and equipment timely and efficiently.
- Must be able to work collaboratively, maintain high recall of detailed information and handle a high volume of calls.

- High school or equivalent (required)
