- Lead lab studies of MIG devices including supporting surgery, monitoring animals and writing/submitting research protocols and findings
- Lead outflow perfusion studies using human specimens. Correlate genetic markers and outflow differences
- Act as industry liaison regarding research initiatives, studies and funding opportunities
- Seek extramural funding from Federal grants, foundations and industry partners
- Running a productive laboratory using appropriate scientific methods, including supervising laboratory personnel
- Document and publish research findings in peer reviewed journals
- Seek extramural funding to support key research activities
- Teach trainees and participate in academic activities and committees as assigned by the VP Research or Chair.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in bioengineering and/or physiology and at least a PhD degree in foundational basic science.
