Perform all duties in accordance with key performance indicators


Planning:
Work with Operational Infrastructure Manager to meet goals for warehouse and office openings/closings/updates as set forth by leadership

  • Project management: Work with operations center staff to ensure achievement of project scope and delivery/setup of required equipment and materials

Coordination:
Assist Operational Infrastructure Manager with synchronization of multiple projects and associated timelines while providing ongoing support to existing operation center staff

  • Suppliers/vendors: Maintain a list of preferred suppliers and contractors. Process required documents for vendor addition to companywide procurement system. Work with procurement team to negotiate preferential rates and terms
  • Maintenance: Monitor Tesla facilities ticket system. Manage maintenance requests, periodic maintenance, and vendor invoice approval for regional sites within and outside of ticketing system. Maintain schedules for maintenance of systems and equipment at all warehouse/office locations
  • Cost Control: Obtain purchase orders for vendor quotes. Follow up and close out of PO once work is completed or materials delivered. Maintain visibility of collective spend and report concerns through leadership chain
  • Maintain working knowledge of Tesla Safety practices and procedures

Reporting:
Provide timely and detailed reports and project updates as requested

  • Perform periodic site inspections and support of operations centers within assigned region. Be a key part of creating a great working environment on a highly motivated and driven team

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 3 years customer service experience (emergency response in a high velocity/high volume setting preferred)
  • Proven ability to measure and manage work from afar, including driving successful vendor relationships
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work under mínimal guidance and direction. Superior communication skills; written and verbal. Enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectations and driving continuous improvements. Ability to travel to various assigned projects/sites as required
  • Must be adaptable to change and work well under pressure, manage competing demands, and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through and decisionmaking skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but not limited to peers and customers
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and customer account management software
  • Physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
  • Proven leadership ability and a track record as a mentor to employees. Open availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid state driver's license required

Pay:
$64, $79,000.00 per year
