We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nuclear Technician to join our team. As a Nuclear Technician, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, including nuclear medicine cameras and scanners. Additionally, you will work closely with patients and medical professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols and ensure accurate and clear images are obtained
  • Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras, scanners, and computers
  • Prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Excellent technical skills and proficiency in operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other team members
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Exceptional problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the job
