Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols and ensure accurate and clear images are obtained
- Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras, scanners, and computers
- Prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Exceptional problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the job
