an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children is actively looking for a person to join our organization who has strengths around Marketing.

The Position will report directly to the Executive Director / CEO.

The position must have strong administrative skills and have knowledge and experience with Fundraising and Marketing Materials as well as the following skills and talents.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree although Master Preferred
  • Must have valid MA Driver License
  • 35 years' experience working for Educational Institution preferred.

Some Tasks

  • Ability to call and speak to school district staff
  • Contact each school district multiple times to build relationship
  • Business Development
  • Must have strong written communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environment
  • Must have a strength in proof reading documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Assist with fundraising as needed day of event and administratively
  • Liaison between different committees and the Executive Director
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with referral sources
  • Maintain and update all data bases
  • Have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, File Maker Pro and indesign
  • Good working knowledge of standard office equipment Computer, Scanner, Fax and Copiers
  • Have extraordinary people skills
  • Create Marketing Pieces that are eye catching
  • Maintain monthly mailings
  • Deadline oriented
  • Cover for other support staff during vacations and sick time and breaks if necessary
  • Other tasks as directed by the Executive Director
