- Account analysis and reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts
- Monthly financial statement close work completed in accordance with closing schedule; analyze monthly financials to ensure information has been recorded accurately.
- Analyze accounting problems, evaluate information, identify key issues that need to be addressed and develop courses of action that effectively address the issue at hand.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiencies and drive projects to completion; maintain a well-organized financial data and document warehouse.
- Active participation and contribution in the annual fiscal budget process and financial projections throughout fiscal year; utilize budget software to create budgets and forecasts; provide analysis and project future results.
- Take the lead in coordination of accounts payable month closing process, handling accounting issues and answering accounting questions for team & management.
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field of study), required.
- 3+ years of full-time related experience and/or training, required.
- Strong mathematical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel
- Multitasking/organizational/time-management skills
- Experience with Quickbooks and AMS-360 preferred.
