PROGRAM (SOAP) COORDINATOR

About the Role:


Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Full Time Clinician opportunities for Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards licensure in our SOAP Program in Haverhill, MA.

Services are provided to all individuals seeking treatment for new or recent sobriety. The SOAP clinical team's primary goal is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment conducive to positive growth and change.

Counseling, case management and other support services are offered to our clients and designed to address issues and concerns relevant to recovery maintenance, positive reintegration into society, and the reduction or harm to physical and emotional health.

SOAP/IOP is a 4-6 week intensive outpatient program; length of treatment is tailored to meet the needs and goals of individual participants.

Clients have a variety of options to attend this program dependent on the hours offered at each Arbour site.


The Substance Abuse Clinician delivers direct services and coordination of services to clients_,_ and may provide other authorized therapeutic modalities as relevant_;_ participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning_; _and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of his or her training_, _experience_,_ and general level of competence.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates, arranges and monitors continuity of care.
  • May assess clients or family's needs_,_ and eligibility for services.
  • May provide group_,_ or individual therapy_,_ in accordance with assessed client recovery needs.
  • Participates in planning treatment programs_,_ dispositional and discharge plans.
  • Maintains family_,_ and all collateral contact_,_ as relevant.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Develops and maintains client case records_,_ notes_,_ plans_,_ and reports.
  • Accepts supervision_,_ and attends regularlyscheduled team_,_ or supervision meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited program is required (Counseling or Social Work preferred)
  • Current license as Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC) or in the process of obtaining such preferred
  • Two years experience in providing Substance Abuse interventions and case management with knowledge of addition recovery dynamics preferred
