    Description

We've been busy building a best-in-class logistics process that allows us to delight customers by ensuring we are in-stock, fulfilling in-store orders, and reducing product damage and shrink by leveraging our physical retail inventory management process.     Essential Functions

    • Develop robust, trusting relationships with in-store partners, stakeholders and senior leadership, and identify opportunities to improve the physical retail in-store logistics operation.
    • Oversee the overall safety, employee engagement, collaboration, quality, performance and customer experience of the logistics operations teams.
    • Create and maintain a strong safety culture that continuous seeks to eliminate risks from the operation
    • Command a strong senior presence, lead and build a team of high performing operations managers & operations associates
    • Drive expectations, follow up, and accountability of logistics processes to enable the store to meet and exceed business plans
    • Provide strong leadership, follow-up, and set clear expectations around processes that directly impact our SLA times for picking and our inventory accuracy
    • Partner closely with a variety of groups store- wide, including Salesfloor, Visual, Asset Protection, Facility, Talent, and other teams to coordinate and ensure total store operations success.
    • Monitor and drive key performance end-to-end metrics to ensure that we are providing excellent customer experience and delivering on our promise
    • Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and technology which make our teams more efficient and effective
    • Support operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue, operational performance, and profitability
    • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through
    • Execute process improvement initiatives that drive year-over-year improvement, as well as streamline and optimize day-to-day operations
    • Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to your leader and peers
    • Drive continuous improvement in KPIs and metrics for logistics process as well as contribute to overall Store KPIs
    • Influence and gain buy-in for support from in-store partners for your area's success

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Experience with leading processes and operations as intended by the organization
    • 5+ years of e-commerce, supply chain, operations, retail, or logistics experience where you led a large team in a logistics capacity
    • Strong process, manufacturing, or engineering background with an ability to understand work flow and throughput in the operation
    • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan
    • Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
    • Demonstrate passion and continued focus of safety as a value rather than just a priority
    • Able to "hit the ground running" – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize projects to delegate tasks appropriately
    • Be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and being hands on with the processes of unloading trucks, stocking shelves, controlling inventory and other warehouse activities.
    • Be comfortable working with a Warehouse and Inventory Management System
    • Be comfortable working directly with customers to resolve any in-store issues

    Preferred

    • Demonstrate leadership in building a culture of continuous improvement for process and operations
    • Analytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data to further develop, recommend and implement solutions
    • Technologically savvy, collaborative confident leader, familiarity with google suite of products is a plus
    • Extremely organized, meticulous and detailed oriented

    Physical Requirements

    • Walking distances over long periods of time on concrete flooring
    • Ability to work and perform dynamic movements in addition to standing
    • Lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs
    • Comfort level with climbing ladders at various heights
    • Full time availability including working hours that can vary between early in the morning, late at night, or overnight
