Your Responsibilities:


The LVR Audit Department conducts audits, consultations, and project-related audits for all business transactions of the LVR and external clients.

All audits are carried out with a holistic approach, meaning that in addition to the technical tasks, business transactions in the areas of finance, organization, personnel, IT, procurement, and construction projects are also subject to audits.

Your tasks include the conception, development, and implementation of suitable data analyses to answer audit-related questions for the specialized audit teams, in particular:

  • Conducting targeted queries for data-based and quantitative analysis of audit questions using data science methods (e.g. calculation of statistical indicators and audit-relevant metrics, grouping of large data sets by individual characteristics, process analysis, cluster analysis, anomaly detection or fraud detection)
  • Development and implementation of automated and regularly scheduled data queries (continuous auditing)
  • Development of dashboards
  • Exchange with auditors regarding appropriate data analyses to support specialized audits
  • Extraction of raw data from relevant IT systems (e.g. through reports or database interfaces)
  • Cleaning and preprocessing of collected data for further analysis
  • Interpretation and communication of analysis results in collaboration with specialized
