    Come join our dynamic team of rehabilitation therapists at Azalea Gardens and Villas at Killearn Lakes, active senior retirement communities located in Tallahassee, FL.

    This opportunity will allow you to get the most out of your career as you:


    • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
    • Plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on clinical findings.
    • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
    • Treat residents one on one, not in a group type setting, so each patient get individualized attention. Private treatment sessions, functional based treatment approach. You have the ability to individualize treatment sessions.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Interpersonal


    • Effectively uses basic communication skills of listening, questioning, verifying, and explaining.
    • Creates rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow LHS employees.
    • Treats patients and maintains a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting budget and productivity goals.
    • Assists with relationship building and growing therapy caseload.
    • Contributes to a culture of world-class talent.
    • Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics per Legacy policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Clinical background as a PT with an appropriate degree in the field.
    • Preferred experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Rehab Agency, home healthcare, or outpatient setting.
    • Must have comfort with learning new computer skills.
    • An active Florida license.
