To provide and coordinate physical therapy services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health, body alignment and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must possess BS degree in Physical Therapy and registered as an Physical Therapist in the state of employment
• One year of experience working with persons with intellectual/ developmental disabilities preferred

Essential Functions

• Assesses each individual as required by need and regulations for therapeutic services and adaptive equipment
• Provides and oversees specialized physical therapy services and activities per individual's plan
• Ensures each individual receives optimal therapeutic interventions working collaboratively with all disciplines
• Provides physical therapy evaluations and documentation per regulatory requirements
• Ensures all equipment, devices and other therapeutic items are in good repair and well maintained
• Provides assistance, supervision and oversight to all Therapy Technicians
• Performs all other duties as assigned
