Position Summary


Aero Gear is seeking a focused and innovative sales person to manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with key domestic and international customers.

The incumbent will be responsible for strategies and customer-facing activities to facilitate expansion of our gear and gearbox assembly product offerings across current and potential customers.


Essential Functions

  • Establish strategic fit and respond to customer RFQ's for new and/or existing products.
  • Analyze RFQ requirements from customer drawings and specifications and provide pricing support by performing cost analysis and pricing evaluations.
  • Participate in contract review process, including interaction with all support functions as it pertains to the requirements and applicable documents.
  • Process orders for products for factory release by interfacing with technical / engineering teams.
  • Act as customer and escalation support for scheduling and delivery issues.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, BOMs and other methods used in the product manufacturing.
  • Domestic and international travel required; up to 20%.

Competencies

  • Selfdirected and highly organized with excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Negotiation experience and familiarity with of Long-Term Agreements, preferred.
  • Strong customerfacing communication and persuasion skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a teambased environment.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline
  • 57 years of relevant experience
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • Solid Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
