Our day care center Kinzigstraße is located in Moravian Falls, NC and follows an inclusive and bilingual immersion concept.

Our team of 14 educators consists of both German and English native speakers who support and guide the children in their individual development.


The position


We are seeking a new team member who is passionate about working with children and wants to join our interdisciplinary bilingual team Our nursery group, which includes children aged 6 months to 3 years, experiences both languages as a natural part of their daily lives.


  • Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Salary: transparent and developed collaboratively within the organization
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements

  • Relevant education in the field of pedagogy, preferably with a NVQ level 2/3 in Early Childhood Education
    or a university degree (B.A. in Early Childhood Education/B.A. in Social Work/etc.) officially recognized in Germany (if you have a foreign diploma)
    or currently in the process of recognition
  • Native English language skills
  • Advanced German language skills (B2 level or higher)
  • Several years of practical experience in (intercultural) Early Childhood Education
  • Strong interest in inclusive work in a bilingual setting
  • Selfmotivated and collaborative team player, eager to grow both professionally and personally
