Food Server


Responsibilities:

Guest Service:


  • Greet guests warmly and provide menus upon seating.
  • Assist guests in making menu selections and answer any questions about menu items.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests' tables.
  • Anticipate guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Table Maintenance:


  • Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware.
  • Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set before seating guests.
  • Monitor dining areas and promptly clean up spills or messes as needed.
  • Reset tables efficiently for the next guests, ensuring a smooth turnover.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas at all times.

Collaboration:


  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
  • Coordinate with other servers and restaurant staff to provide seamless service.
  • Work as part of a team to meet service standards and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as hosting, bussing tables, or running food.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
