Our client is an innovative, continuously growing, family-owned mechanical engineering company located in the district of Vechta. To strengthen their team, they are currently seeking a full-time accountant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. This is a direct hire with the client.
Your responsibilities as an accountant (m/f/d)
- You are responsible for the correct processing of digital invoice processing (verification of invoice allocations and posting) of daily business transactions (creditors/debtors/general ledger) as well as the handling of payment runs
- Direct and proactive reconciliation of accounts with suppliers and customers, as well as monitoring of customer credit lines, are second nature to you
- You take care of the verification of invoices and credit notes, as well as the management of open items
- You actively participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Professional
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or training as a tax clerk
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in accounting and are used to independently handling business transactions
- You are proficient in MS Office and common accounting systems
- You have a good understanding of business relationships and possess a strong affinity for numbers
