• Supervise a team of maintenance workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Plan and prioritize maintenance projects, including irrigation, lawn care, landscape maintenance, tree care, and garden upkeep
• Oversee the construction and repair of structures, such as fences, pathways, and outdoor furniture
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, including litter removal and debris cleanup
• Monitor equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services or supplies
• Train new employees on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
• Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, with a strong knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance practices
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead a team effectively and delegate tasks appropriately
• Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment related to groundskeeping and maintenance work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or hazards before they become major problems
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
