Pivot Tutors is looking for
an experienced test prep tutor who can provide quality instruction and support for a wide range of standardized tests, such as
the ACT and SAT, as well as high school math classes.


Previous high school math tutoring/teaching experience is required.

ABOUT YOU:

If you're the right tutor for our team, YOU
- have a
minimum of 1 year of _recent_ experience teaching/tutoring math for ACT and SAT (required).
- are an
expert in test-taking strategies, ACT & SAT format, and high school-level math (required).
- have experience teaching/tutoring math for GRE, ISEE, and PSAT (A plus).
- enjoy mentoring high school students.
- are skilled at breaking complex problems down into manageable parts.
- make learning fun and are a confident teacher.
- want a rewarding job that allows you to use your education and experience.
- have
access to a laptop (with screen annotation capabilities) and reliable internet connection (required).

ABOUT THE POSITION:


  • Parttime position (515 hours)
  • Currently, a remote position (with the expectation to work out of the Pivot Tutors office in Sorrento Valley once inperson tutoring resumes)
  • Paid tutor training is provided.
  • Potential for Benefits and 401K
  • Salary: $2030/hour depending on background and experience
  • Position starts ASAP
