Deliver World-Class Customer Service
- Act as the primary daily contact for complex projects, regional and national RFPs, and strategic accounts.
- Ensure Leer is delivering on our promise to "wow customers" and fulfilling our commitment to excellence.
- Drive customer loyalty by exceeding customer expectations.
- Prepare timely and accurate quote and order information.
- Partner with the customer to design efficient projects.
- Increase Leer's quote to order hit ratio.
- Read and interpret RFP's and Project Specifications.
- Utilize CAD to identify specifications and dimensions.
- Manage complex projects from initial concept through ordering and installation.
- Identify and combat project risks.
- Engage with stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Work with installation teams and onsite project managers to ensure the ontime delivery of the Walk-In, buyout items, and the installation team.
- Complete large scale RFP packages for regional and national accounts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for attracting new customers.
- Partner with Regional and National Sales Directors on longterm account management.
- Implement initiatives to grow and retain existing customer base.
- Utilize previous Sales experience to assist in obtaining company sales objectives.
- Resolve customer requests and product warranty issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are handled in accordance with company policies.
- Deliver consistent communications to our customers regarding order and shipment status, company updates, and any pertinent information.
- Address and resolve cases/OBEs, warranty claims, and technical support in conjunction with our Technical Support Department.
- Maintain and properly document sales records.
- Embrace change management, typically these complex projects involve changes within the organization.
- Partner with Engineering to support new concepts and educate customers on what we can and may not be able to build.
- Analyze and document current business processes while focusing on continuous improvement.
- Seeks ways to drive efficiencies in the quote to cash process.
- Seek feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement in products and services.
- Crosstrain in all Leer CSR divisions to create a dynamic and flexible team.
- Train other members of the CSR Team to advance their knowledge and skillsets.
Qualifications:
- Account /
Project Management:
Capacity to manage multiple large-scale projects and strategic accounts simultaneously.
- Quoting Experience: Experience with quoting of complex and custom products required.
- Product /
Service Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of product line. Previous experience and understanding of Refrigeration and Walk-Ins required.
- Sales Experience: Understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate product features, benefits, and pricing. Ability to understand customer needs and have a strong desire for customer satisfaction.
- Computer Literacy: Capable of performing tasks on Microsoft Suite, as well as ability to learn automated quoting software, and ERP systems. Ability to understand CAD highly preferred.
- Critical Thinking: Willingness to critique business processes to identify areas of optimization or advancement in business processes. A mindset that embraces complexity as an opportunity for growth and innovation is essential.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Openness to collaborate with marketing, sales, accounting, and operations.
- Leadership Skills: Capable of training others to advance their knowledge and skillsets.
Education and/or Experience:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 23 years of related experience. Direct related experience of 10+ may be considered in exchange for degree requirement.
- Requires 510 years of quoting experience and project management experience preferred.
Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of time sitting and using a computer.
