Description
Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage is looking for a Line Cook to join our team at our restaurant in Cedar Lake, IN.
We are looking for someone who is available to work day & night shift Monday-Saturday. 35+ Hours a week.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working with others. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and enjoy the challenge of a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees
- Must be able to follow instructions and work with little supervision
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Must have the ability to work well with others in a fastpaced environment
Job Duties:
Interact with customers daily with a positive attitude. Taking orders quick and efficiently. Overall, being a team player
- Properly use all equipment provided.
- Properly use all supplies needed for food preparation and cleanup.
- Follow Proper portion control procedures include: proper cleaning procedures for all areas where food is prepared; and proper sanitation procedures when food is prepared. Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times. Keep work area neat, clean, sanitized, and free of debris. Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned after each shift. Perform other duties as required by the shift schedule.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour

Experience:
- Restaurant experience: 1 year (preferred)
