SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator in the Engineering division will be the driving force behind the successful delivery of our critical infrastructure projects.

Serving as the central hub of communication and coordination, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, construction crews, and external stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.

Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities will be essential as you track progress, manage schedules, and resolve any issues that arise.

With a deep understanding of utility construction processes and a keen eye for identifying potential roadblocks, you will proactively develop solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with project planning and budget tracking efforts, including project schedules, resource management, and material requirements planning.
  • Coordinate with teams on project deliverables, timelines, and project completion status.
  • Track project milestones and provide status reports to colleagues, project managers, and clients.
  • Assist with document management and ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and wellorganized.
  • Conduct regular project team meetings and provide status updates to ensure that everyone is aligned and aware of project timelines and any discussions pertaining to risks.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and stakeholders to share project updates and status.
  • Coordinate project procurement efforts and liaise with vendors and contractors.
  • Assist with fieldwork operations, including scheduling and invoicing.
  • Assist with fieldwork, design, permitting, and any additional production support the team needs to ensure ontime and highquality deliverables to clients.
  • Provide training and mentorship, ensuring continued growth of individuals and the firm.
  • Provide quality assurance / quality control review and feedback, ensuring highquality and accurate project deliverables.

Requirements:


  • Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in the utilities industry, including Fiber Optics, Electric, Gas, or Water.
  • Experience working in project coordination, preferably in a utility or engineering environment.
  • Experience in design and permitting, preferably in a utility or engineering environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and Google Earth.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to utility design and permits.
  • Experience with utility owner software including ArcGIS PRO, 3GIS, ARAMIS, IQGeo, Magellan, PRISM, QGIS, SmallWorld, and STORMS.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
