We looking for an upbeat, energetic individual with a heart for service and willingness to perform a dual role of a Restaurant Server and Banquet Houseman/Server.

Restaurant Server Responsibilities- Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner- Complete knowledge of hotel's food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricing- Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner- Clear, clean, and prepare tables- When serving alcoholic beverages, observe guest's behavior, count number of drinks served, and follow proper procedure if guest is impaired to drive by suggesting transportation by taxi service- Ensure guests are satisfied during their meal service- Other duties as assigned


Banquet Responsibilities

  • Set up rooms and function areas with designated tables, chairs, staging, dance floor and other equipment as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Set up table linens, skirting and tabletop items (water pitchers, glasses, etc.) as specified by group and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Refresh banquet rooms/areas.
  • Breakdown function areas as scheduled in accordance to departmental procedures.
  • Accommodate guest requests for additions/changes to scheduled arrangements courteously and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Serve all food courses and nonalcoholic beverage items to the guest in accordance with departmental standards and function requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work and storage areas.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Minimum of 6 months server/banquet experience- Experience in hospitality preferred- Possess basic math skills and cash-handling- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
