    Summary

    This position is responsible for identifying, negotiating and generating sales revenue, quotes and follow-up. The Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for maintaining our customer relations and contact.

    • SALES – Knowledge of products, pricing, specs.
    • Communicate with Customer for positive results in favor of Bristol Metals
    • Preparing and offering quotations (building prices and value-added costing)
    • Quotation follow up
    • Negotiating Orders
    • Order entry into computer system
    • Liaison for Customer to QC and Operations

    Marginal Job Functions:

    • Expediting orders, follow-up on deliveries we have offered to our customers, along with shipping status and coordinate that information to our customers.
    • Collect information from our customers regarding projects (Bid/Buy) stock buys, our competitor's info, and what it is going to take to book the order.
    • Work out credit issues with our customers with guidance of General Sales Manager when needed. Clear up outstanding credits, issue debits, and coordinate with QC for information to enter claims, and return authorization numbers in our system.

    Qualification Summary

    Essential Skills and Experience Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:

    • Computer knowledge – along with the understanding of how to use office equipment
    • Sales experience
    • Understanding of business, and how it operates
    • Communication skills

    Non-Essential Skills and Experience (not required, but would be a plus)

    • Prior knowledge of the industry
    • Sense of urgency

    Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

    • Complete High School Degree (minimum)
    • College Business degree, or communications degree (would be a plus)

    Other Qualifications Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job

    • Patience
    • Understanding people
    • Exceptional communication skills
