Job Summary:

Duties:

• Assist in managing the overall operation of the warehouse facility
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving, storing, and inventory management
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control processes
• Oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment processing

Skills:

• Experience in transportation management, supply chain, shipping/receiving, and warehouse supervision
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Understanding of operations management principles to streamline processes
• Familiarity with fleet management practices for coordinating transportation activities
