Job Overview:


The Dual Study Program in Materials Engineering/Applied Materials Science offers the opportunity to gain practical experience from the beginning through systematically alternating phases of practical work in the company and theory at the Georg Simon Ohm Technical University in Nuremberg.

This study model is particularly suitable for motivated high school graduates who have a strong logical-analytical thinking ability, high performance readiness and self-discipline, and a practical mindset.


At the Technical University, you will be trained as a materials engineer and gain insight into the broad spectrum of materials, including metals, polymers, nanomaterials, ceramics, glass, and composite materials, which are widely used in industrial and everyday applications.

In the first section of the study, the basic studies, you will be taught necessary basic knowledge in chemistry, physics, engineering mathematics, fundamentals of individual materials, measurement and control technology, electrical engineering, technical mechanics, and process engineering.
