Description
In this position, you will provide support for controlling activities in accordance with the policies of our client, an international life science company located in Conway, WA.
Controller (m/w/d):
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly reports with accompanying comments
- Create budgets/forecasts/business plans and conduct variance analysis
- Assist with monthly closing processes in SAP
- Manage material creation flow
- Conduct profitability analysis by product line
- Perform ad hoc analysis on manufacturing KPIs and compare standard/actual product costs
- Support cost center reporting and fixed cost analysis
- Assist with intercompany reconciliation processes
- Maintain relationships with auditors and tax consultants
- Collaborate with SAP key users/consultants at headquarters to improve processes
- Ensure coordination with accounting, sales, and production departments
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in economics or a related field
- 35 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HGB and IFRS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Familiarity with SAP
- Willingness to travel for short business trips
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (a test will be conducted during the selection process)
- Handson mentality
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work in a team
- Strong analytical skills and problemsolving attitude
