Title:
Development Associate (part-time/20 hours/week)


Reports To:
Director of Development


Summary:

The Development Associate provides administrative support to the Development office staff including assisting with gift processing and working with the Coordinator of Saint Joseph Guild.


Essential Functions

  • Administrative Support
  • Aid with the daytoday administrative tasks of the Development office, including filing and maintaining adequate inventory of office supplies
  • Assist in the preparation of donor thank you letters, event mailings
  • Update donor addresses as needed in ResultsPlus CRM
  • Scan archival documents to save to Development Share drive files.
  • Gift Processing:
  • Process and acknowledge donations promptly.
  • Capture address and donor information in Results Plus.
  • Complete batch process and ready checks to go to Finance Office.
  • Saint Joseph Guild (SJG)
  • Support Coordinator of SJG in card order fulfillment.
  • Assist with card inventory maintenance.
  • Assist with replenishing Saint Joseph Villa gift shop inventory.

Education:
Bachelor's degree


General qualifications:


  • A selfstarter, data and deadline driven, and ability to multitask with solid organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data management.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in office administration, preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising setting.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
