Responsibilities:


What will you do:


The Client and Family Intake Specialist drives timely access to care by delivering exceptional customer service in helping prospective clients access services within KGH Autism Services This includes helping families navigate among different service options and helping determine the most appropriate services for the family and/or their child.

This position serves as a critical point of contact for clients, caregivers, and outside referral sources, providing essential information about our programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Review and promptly process referrals from all points of contact while ensuring compliance with privacy requirements
  • Educate prospective families on all KGH service offerings as well as provide recommendations based on family/caregiver needs
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to evaluate the appropriateness of some of our services
  • Schedule clinicial consultation calls as well as clinical tours
  • Communicate with clients throughout the benefit and initial paperwork process; responding timely to inquiries
  • Explain clients' benefits; answering all questions relating to billing and KGH's financial policies
  • Maintain accurate records within the organizations electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Coordinates the collection of initial and ongoing medical prescriptions necessary for evaluation and treatment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of intake policies and procedures to improve coordination of services as well as timely access to services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in social work, family studies, education, communications, or related field, Master's degree preferred
  • Understanding of pediatric outpatient healthcare services preferred
  • 23 years customer service or medical office experience preferred
  • Prior benefit verification and/or intake, inside sales experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM Platform preferred
