    School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

    Location: Rensselaer, IN

    Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

    Soliant, in collaboration with esteemed school districts in Rensselaer, IN, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position presents a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and personal development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication disorders.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and at home.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Advocate for students' educational and communication needs within the school community.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
    • Valid Indiana state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
    • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
    • Knowledge of current assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Dedication to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs.
