    Job Description

    Talento Search Group has an opening for a Design Engineer in Michigan City, IN. This is a direct-hire position and the pay is $65,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Use CAD software to design/draft new and improvements of existing products
    • Review design briefs, specifications and prints
    • Create rough layout
    • Revise production drawings in detail as requested
    • Final sketch and completion of machine and product drawings
    • Perform, document and file BOM audits, BOM maintenance and production drawings

    Experience Needed:

    • HS education required. Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is a plus
    • Experience in mechanical design using Solidworks is preferred
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD software
    • Familiarity with GD&T is helpful
    • Proficiency of drafting techniquest and engineering technology
